Making a Damascus Knife in 5 Days

This class is tailored for advanced students who have experience in forging knives and stock removal aspects. The class consists of forging the initial medium layer billet into the students choice of basic pattern (random, ladder, twist or rain drop). From the drawn out and finished billet, the student will make 1 full tang knife (with possible material left over to take home to make another 1 or 2) from start to finish. An optional sheath making class day for $100 can be added on upon request.

Experience Level: Student must be able to forge out their own blades or stock removal their own blades without assistance from the instructor. Student must have belt sander experience and forging experience. Adults 18 or older unless permitted by parents.

Class duration: 5 days/10AM- 5PM.

Maximum of 2 students per class.
